Professional Installation (Permanent Concrete Embedding)
For maximum longevity and stability, permanent embedding should be performed by a professional to ensure full resistance against vandalism and mechanical loads.
- Foundation Preparation: Excavate a foundation hole of sufficient depth (approx. 400 mm deeper than the required height above ground) and prepare the concrete mix.
- Positioning: Place the bollard into the hole and align it to be perfectly vertical using a spirit level. The visible height (800 mm) must be set precisely.
- Concreting: Fill the hole with concrete. The concrete surface should be slightly sloped away from the bollard to ensure proper water drainage.
- Curing: Allow the concrete to fully cure before the bollard is subjected to mechanical stress.
